Mini Sandwiches

Miranda has been learning to make bread with her grandma this year. I think she has learned how to do it better than me--I have yet to make a loaf I'm satisfied with! Anyway, so her cute grandma bought her some mini loaf pans to make bread. I'm almost more giddy about these than Miranda. I couldn't resist making mini sandwiches. Maybe I should buy some mini ziplock baggies for them, and then make some bite-sized cookies...or we could invite some of M's friends/cousins over and have a mini little tea party! Umm, maybe in January or February when life is less busy :)

Pink Cookies

One night last week, Jeremy came home from work and wanted to make cookies with Miranda. He is so good to teach her how to cook/bake and she LOVES it. She is starting to be quite the talented egg cracker! Jeremy asked her what kind of cookies she wanted to bake, and she kept saying "pink", so they made pink cookies (with chocolate chips).

And they were delicious!

More Aprons

My cousin's birthday is next week but she got her apron on Sunday at our family dinner. I think she liked it. I love each of the fabrics, but I'm really into paisley lately. And I don't think I ever posted a picture of my sister, Holli's apron. I liked the colors of hers because they are neutrals and will go well with whatever she is wearing it over. Now I just have to make my sister, Kristi's apron for her b-day coming in January, but I think that will be a procrastinated project since Christmas comes first!I wanted to add a third fabric to make it more fun, along with a ruffle. Holli has such good taste in fashion that I always stress whenever I give her something to wear--so I don't do it very often!

To Sum it Up

We've been busy (like all of you) and I don't expect things to slow down until the end of January, based on our schedule. The good news is, it's all fun things. Here are some pictures to sum it up:

Ever since Daylight Savings time, this cutie wakes up bright and early, ready to play. I let him fuss for a while before giving in usually around 5:30 am. Thank goodness for two good naps he gets later in the day! And this is the kind of fun stuff he likes to do. Today alone he opened a zucchini seed packet and had seeds spread all over the kitchen, got stuck in a mouse glue trap (that's why we have the non-toxic kind), took the vent off the fireplace, and de-organized plenty of cabinets and drawers. Some of that de-organizing usually happens with his partner in crime. They are starting to have lots of fun together, though, and it's so fun for me when Miranda gets Bradley giggling over something silly she does.
We had a fun Halloween. Bradley was a little horse. He didn't mind his costume too much and I was surprised he even left his hat on the whole time! Miranda was a cowgirl. I don't have pictures of her in her costume, though. We just went to JC Penny for the pictures in their costumes and for Brad's 9 month pictures. Miranda did LOVE Halloween and her candy this year, of course. Finally, I've been trying to get projects crossed off my list, especially Christmas presents. My cute Cousin Corie and Aunt Bonnie have been helping me sew some projects, and made this sweet bath robe for Miranda.
